Unique Partnership to Help YMCA Kids Reach for the Top

The Charles River YMCA and Top Banana Education Foundation have combined forces to offer quality after-school care bundled with the premier supplementary math program for the 2011-2012 school year. For the first time, members of the Charles River Y will now be able to enjoy both the Y's reliable and convenient after-school program and the extracurricular math instructions under one roof and at an affordable price.

Top Banana Education Foundation Raises Money for the New Classroom in Newton on Cauzoom

Top Banana Education Foundation has successfully completed a month long fundraising project hosted on Cauzoom.com. The goal of the project has been to raise the funds for purchasing desks for a newly built classroom at the Top Banana’s facility in Newton, MA where elementary and middle school students enroll in the after-school mathematics program in order to strengthen their knowledge, broaden skills and excel in the subject and beyond.

Broadmeadow Students Among Winners in The International Math Competition

Needham, MA – June 7, 2011 – Two fourth graders from Broadmeadow Elementary School achieve high scores and receive prestigious awards during Math Kangaroo 2011.

Math Kangaroo USA 2011

Top Banana Education Foundation becomes a test center for Math Kangaroo, an international schoolchildren competition in mathematics. The contest takes place annually on a third Thursday of March. In 2011, it falls on March 17th. The competition originally started out in Australia in the 1980's. In 1991, it came to France where it was dubbed "Math Kangaroo" for the place of its origin.  It was brought to the United States 1998.
